This course focuses on theory, skin anatomy, machine and manual applications, needle configurations, and business strategies. Students will perform practice work on mannequins, practice skin, and perform their skills taught with 4 procedures on 4 live models.⁣⁣

⁣⁣We will only offer four cohorts of this class in 2024. Classes are held at Mana Collaborative Studio + Training Center on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 AM to 5 PM.⁣⁣

Prerequisites:

Occupational Objective:

Licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist. Bloodborne Pathogens Training Course for Body Artists Certificate Class (available online through Tri-County Health Department, CO).




Educate the licensed Cosmetologist / Esthetician (check local state requirements) in the art of Permanent Cosmetics. 132 hours will be utilized to learn sanitation, sterilization and disinfection safety according to state regulations. The course focuses on theory, skin anatomy, machine and manual applications, needle configurations, and business strategies. Students will perform practice work on mannequins, practice skin, and perform their skills taught with 4 procedures on 4 live models. There will be a two-part exit exam that requires both a practical and written exam. The practical test will be the live 4 models performed under instructor supervision. The written exam is required with a passing grade of 80% or higher to receive certification.

Brandy Harris is an experienced 6 time certified master instructor of all things permanent makeup. Her continued education classes are held at the Mana Collaborative Studio + Training Center where she offers a range of classes for licensed aestheticians who are just starting out in permanent makeup and to those with some experience under their belt looking to build their advanced techniques. 

Her expertise is in all things related to microblading, lip blushing, permanent eyeliner and more.
